The List came to Sound Enterprises wanting to create a new version of their existing online product called TheListOnline.com. While this product had been successful for years, there had not been any major enhancements to the site for about 3 years.
The List wanted not only an updated look and feel so that the site felt fresh, but they also wanted to mine the incredible depth of information that they had with many new features. Their clients had been voicing a desire for additional functionality for years.
Sound Enterprises came in and looked under the covers to understand how the current system was working, how The List ran its business and where The List wanted to go with TheListOnline.com in the immediate timeframe as well as the future. Based on this discovery phase, it was recommended to not only rewrite the entire web-based application but to also rewrite the internal FileMaker system that The List used to capture all of their data.
The result is a much more stable and robust system than they had before. Not only is the system loaded with many additional features, but it runs more efficiently and uses much less storage space than before. Since its launch in Fall of 2006, The List has seen tremendous growth in sales and user excitement.
John Snowden, President of McRae Corporation, mentions TheListOnline.com as one of his favorite websites in the March 11, 2007 edition of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, stating, "This site innovated customer prospecting in our business. It helps us and actually reduces the number of irritating calls prospects receive. Good info, regularly updated, very navigable.".
