Sound Enterprises utilizes a proven development methodology to deliver projects by dividing activities into seven phases. Depending on the project and the client's budget, each of these phases has a varying level of execution to ensure that the needs and budget of the client are met. Each phase can produce a set of deliverables which are agreed upon at outset of the project.

Discovery Phase
Sound Enterprises works with each client to identify all of the functionality that is desired for the project. Most importantly, Sound Enterprises listens to each client to gain a precise understanding of what the short-term and long-term goals are for the web application.

Graphic Design Phase
The graphic design team works with each client to review and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the current design, and get an overview of current print and marketing materials. The goal is to ensure that the messaging and design of the new website is consistent with all aspects of the client's identity and branding program.

Information Architecture/Design Phase
This phase defines the site architecture, which defines how users interact with the site. A site map is developed as well as a fully detailed functionality inventory specifying how each page will be rendered and what actions users can take from each page.

Development Phase
This phase includes the actual development and deployment of the website. Throughout this phase, Sound Enterprises provides frequent updates to make sure that the development is on schedule, make sure that the planned functionality is implemented properly and to make any necessary adjustments in the design based on unforeseen circumstances.

Quality Assurance Phase
Once the development has reached a state of stability, the quality assurance phase begins. Sound Enterprises thoroughly tests each system and works with the client to get them involved in the testing.

Data Conversion Phase
If the project is the redesign of an existing application, there may be data that needs to be transferred over to the new system.

Launch
Sound Enterprises deploys, or assists in the deployment of, the tested system on the agreed-upon hosting platform whether an internal platform or an external one is selected.
